Enterprise Search and Analytics for Panasonic
Background
Panasonic, one of the largest consumer electronics firms in the world,
had a need to re-engineer its outdated E-Commerce Web site. As a part
of the effort, a new enterprise search had to be implemented to replace
the old and outdated site search solution. In addition, old Web analytics also had to be replaced.
Solution
The Consulting Land expert has architected and implemented a search
solution based on Google Site Search and Google Commerce Search.
In addition, under the supervision of our expert, Adobe Omniture
Analytics was implemented and integrated.
Results
The new search solution has dramatically improved user satisfaction
and contributed significantly to the E-Commerce sales. In addition,
the new Adobe Omniture Analytics system has provided necessary
visibility into the performance of the Web site and marketing campaigns.
Amazon A+ Content for Panasonic
Background
Panasonic, a consumer electronics giant, had a need of improving
visibility and searchability of product pages at Amazon. In addition,
Panasonic wanted to provide extended product information at Amazon
for "product researchers" and to offer a comparison chart of
products for up-selling and cross-selling purposes.
Solution
Panasonic has decided to leverage on Amazon A+ content, and the
Consulting Land expert obtained the content and related collateral.
Then, the content was SEO optimized, converted into Amazon A+ format,
and successfully published on Amazon. In addition, Amazon accounts
were revised, suggestions on product titles, images, categories,
reporting and other elements were provided, and the process of
updating such content was established.
Results
Once completed, more visitors were able to find products on the first
page of Amazon search results, and consumer traffic to Panasonic products
at Amazon has increased.Optimized Amazon product pages have achieved
a higher position in Google Index,and as a result, sales KPIs have also improved.
Web site, Identity and Marketing for Marine Transport Logistics
Background
Marine Transport Logistics, an NVOCC-licensed freight forwarder and brokerage
company, had a need to replace its old and outdated Web site with the
new solution that will allow corporate clients to see latest prices,
check the status of shipped cargo and request transportation services.
The site should be multilingual, supporting English, Russian and Arabic
languages. A new logo and corporate identity were also requested.
Solution
As a part of the solution, the Consulting Land team has architected,
designed, developed and assembled the site, provided UI design, copywriting
and translation services, as well as integrated the site with several
fulfillment systems. The Consulting Land team has also developed custom
tools using PHP and MySQL technologies to allow listing contract prices,
accepting service order requests; it has also engineered and implemented
shipping port and car databases. The Consulting Land team hasalso installed
and configured Google Analytics;integrated Google AdWords and Google Webmaster
tools; designed a corporate logo and new identify; implemented a managed hosting
solution; re-configured a corporate network environment;
and provided SEM (SEO and PPC) marketing services.
Results
As a result of the above effort, Consulting Land was able to replace an outdated
home-grown Web site with the professionally developed Web solution, which includes
Web site, tools, a new corporate identity, hosting and networking infrastructure.
Consulting Land has also created Web business processes for Marine Transport
Logistics, trained the client's IT support team and provided all of the
necessary instructions related to Web business operations.
As a result of the SEM PPC marketing effort, Consulting Land was able to
achieve on average about 6% of the conversion rate in leads generation
(service request form submitted).
AVS-6000 Patented Search Engine Visibility System
Background
Deep site architecture, database-driven content and the integration of rich
internet application technologies entice visitors to explore, engage with
and revisit a Web site. Unfortunately, these characteristics also prevent
search engines from fully indexing Web sites, which in turn creates a content
visibility problem. If Web site content isn't visible in the natural search
results of the search engines, it becomes difficult for Web site owners
to reach the large universe of prospective site visitors.
Solution
Consulting Land experts have invented, architected and led the implementation of the AVS-6000's
unique, proprietary patented technology that ensures that search engines recognize and catalog
the hidden data within deep, database-driven Web sites. The created platform gathered and
processed Web site content, made it visible to search engines and automatically handled
all aspects of on-page SEO to optimize ranking, without interruption to Web operations.

Results
As a result, the product created was implemented for Home Depot, Legal Zoom and other Web
sites providing SEO visibility to Web site content to search engine crawlers and dramatically
increased traffic utilizing previously un-indexed content.
Web sites for Ajinomoto Group in the USA
Background
Ajinomoto is a 100-year-old, science-oriented manufacturer and marketer of processed food,
seasonings, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals and animal nutrition. Ajinomoto Co. operates
globally, with operations in 23 countries and regions backed by over 100 manufacturing
facilities. Ajinomoto has recognized a business need to bring outdated corporate Web
properties in compliance with the current corporate business goals.
Solution
Consulting Land expert has provided Web Strategy, SEO and Project Management services,
and has overseen the Web site design and development effort from the initiation to the
successful completion. This involvement has also included a participation in all of
the aspects of business analysis, procurement, management, UAT and delivery.
Results
As a result, Consulting Land expert has initiated and managed over 15 different
Web-related projects for Ajinomoto Group in the US.
Web site for American Advertising Federation
Background
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) isthe nation's oldest national advertising
trade association and the only association representing all facets of the advertising
industry. The AAF's membership comprises nearly 100 blue chip corporate members,
which are the nation's leading advertisers and media companies. AAF needed a new
Web site to provide members and partners necessary information about
corporate services.
Solution
Consulting Land expert has architected and developed AAF's custom Content
Management System and assembled the Web site that consisted of thousands
of pages and creative content. Consulting Land expert was also responsible
for Project Management, production hosting infrastructure, SEO optimization
and post-launch support.
Results
The new Web site for AAF was successfully completed and was delivered ahead
of the projected deadline.
Advertising Hall of Fame Web site for AAF
Background
The Advertising Hall of Fame initiative began in 1948. It honors the
extraordinary achievements of advertising leaders, from their significant
contributions to the advertising industry to their personal commitment
to society. Since the beginning, 191 extraordinary individuals have
been elected to this illustrious group. American Advertising Federation
needed a Web site to list and honor advertising leaders and their contributions.
Solution
Consulting Land expert has architected and developed The Advertising Hall
of Fame custom Content Management System and custom Enterprise Search
functionality. Consulting Land expert has also provided hosting and
management support and required training to operate the site. The
project was implemented using open source technologies in conjunction
with Oracle Database that powered the custom search functionality.
Results
As a result, AAF was able to publish information publicly about advertising
leaders, their contributions and achievements that transformed the way that
advertising and marketing are conducted today.
Kiosks for Cereality chain of Cereal Bar and Cafe
Background
The first Cereality chain of Cereal Bar and Cafe opened at Arizona State University,
and then added locations at the University of Pennsylvania, in downtown Chicago and
at a Pennsylvania Turnpike rest stop. Cereality brand was committed to providing
a unique experience that gives customers total control over the selection and
purchasing experience. As a part of this experience, Cereality needed in-store
kiosks to allow customers to select cereal mixes and place orders as well as
a new Web site to promote its brand.
Solution
Consulting Land engineer has architected and developed in-store kiosks using
Web-based technologies. Kiosks registered its users in a global database sharable
between restaurants but forwarded orders to the local POS system for processing.
In addition, Consulting Land engineer has created a Web site and provided a managed hosting solution.
Results
As a result, multiple kiosks were placed in each restaurant and quickly became
very popular among clients. The kiosk solution and new Web site have contributed
greatly to Cereality's "total control" customer experience business goal.
Extranet System for LG dealers and resellers
Background
LG Electronics USA needed an extranet system for its "Super Seller" program to help
ensure reseller success by providing resellers with access to LG products, sales
support programs, promotions and service.
Solution
Consulting Land expert has engineered the extranet for LG's "Super Seller" program
that supported the product image and brand materials library, product offers and deals,
rewards program and accounts management, demo purchase program, knowledge base,
news and announcements and many other features.
Results
As a result, LG Electronics was able to fulfill its corporate promise providing to its
dealers the highest level of service and support to help ensure their
success and customer satisfaction.
Web site and custom CMS for LG USA
Background
LG Electronics USA is a US subsidiary of LG Group, one of the largest manufacturers
of consumer electronics in the world. It had a need to launch a new Web site in the US
to promote its corporate brand, educate consumers on LG products and provide information
on product announcements, purchasing and support options.
Solution
Consulting Land expert has participated in and engineered the custom Content Management
solution, utilizing Oracle Database, XML data feeds and XSLT language to convert
database-driven, catalogue-based product content into HTML pages. Consulting Land
expert has also participated in the creation of an automated proprietary content
publishing methodology and has delivered data modeling, data management, hosting
and other Web-related services.
Results
In less than 3 months, the team was able to obtain and finalize requirements, architect
and engineer the content management system and assemble and launch the new LG USA Web
site with hundreds of products in its product catalogue.
Interactive promotional Microsite for LG Electronics
Background
LG Electronics, a consumer electronics giant, had plans to release a new mobile phone.
As a part of the product launch effort, the LG team has requested a marketing Microsite
to be created. The main purpose was educating consumers on the features of the phone
by offering an interactive experience of"try before buy" . LG was also interested
in expanding its email subscribers to share corporate news, events and promotions.
Solution
As a part of the promotional microsite, an online interactive game was developed
using Flash technology on the frontend as well as PHP and Oracle Database on the backend.
Consulting Land expert has engineered the backend system to support the effort.
Results
As the result, Consulting Land has measured user interest in a new phone, accumulated
email addresses and provided LG with statistical information, analysis and an email database.
